During a rural homestay, you can fully enjoy farming experiences such as rice planting and pear bagging, outdoor activities and making nature crafts experiences in the day time, and you can also enjoy learning local home cooking and starry sky observation in the night time unique to the Saji area.

We are a pear farmer family of five with three children, farming pears, rice and a small amount of chemical-free vegetables. You can enjoy picking and cooking wild plants in spring, play at Saji-gawa river in summer, and enjoy the beautiful starry sky on a sunny day. It’s cool at night so we don’t need an air conditioner. How about to enjoy cooking rice in the wood-fired stove in Japanese traditional way?
